The First Workshop on Embedded System Software development and Quality Assurance
Zhangjiajie, China, July 14-15, 2010
How to efficiently and correctly use the limited resources in an embedded system to obtain optimal performance has also become a very important issue.
The First workshop on embedded system software development and quality assurance (WESQA 2010) will be co-located with the 10th International Conference on Quality Software (QSIC 2010) in Zhangjiajie, China, which is an UNESCO World Natural Heritage famous for its magnificent views.
QSIC 2010 will be a two-day event to be held on July 14–15, 2010.
With the progress and popularization of embedded systems in the past few years, efficiency and quality, instead of mere functionalities, have become critical factors in measuring the value of embedded systems.
How to efficiently and correctly use the limited resources in an embedded system to obtain optimal performance has also become a very important issue. Further, the invasion of multicore processors into desktop, as well as, embedded systems has created an unforeseen gulf in ensuring the correctness of such systems. This workshop aims to provide a forum for discussing topics related to embedded system software development and quality assurance. Researchers can share their research results in a comfortable and relaxed environment, and then get some feedback to improve their research and advance the development of embedded systems.
There is a need, therefore, for a workshop on embedded system development. The First International Workshop on Embedded System Software development and Quality Assurance (WESQA 2010) will be held in conjunction with the 10th International Conference on Quality Software (QSIC 2010).
