               9th International Workshop on
Performability Modeling of Computer and Communication Systems

           September 17-18, 2007 - Eger, Hungary

Submission deadline: June 8, extended abstract up to 4 pages

            http://webspn.hit.bme.hu/~pmccs2009/

PMCCS brings together academic and industrial researchers in
the area of integrated performance and dependability modeling
and evaluation with an emphasis on bridging theory and practice.
Theoretical contributions as well as application-oriented work
are welcome. Case studies and industrial applications of
performability modeling and evaluation are solicited in the
field of (embedded) computer and communication systems as well
as in related fields, such as flexible manufacturing systems,
product-in-process software development, medical systems,
transportation systems, and complex infrastructures.

This year, in addition to regular sessions, PMCCS will host a
special session on the quantitative evaluation of systems from
a security and survivability perspective. This includes studies
on critical systems and infrastructure (airport security, power
and automotive systems, etc.) in addition to traditional
computing applications. (Submissions are not limited to these
topics.)

According to the tradition of the PMCCS series, the workshop
will be characterized by open and intense discussions on
various topics in performability modeling and analysis, based
on recent work of the participants. Authors retain copyright
of their work.

PMCCS-9 will be hosted in Eger in the Hotel Korona
http://www.koronahotel.hu/index.php
It follows immediately after the 6th International Conference
on the Quantitative Evaluation of Systems (QEST) 2007
(www.qest.org/qest2009), which is held in Budapest.
