                10th International Symposium on
   Stabilization, Safety, and Security of Distributed Systems

                           Call for Posters

                            Nov 21-23 2008

                           Detroit, MI 48228

* Goals and Scope:

The Poster Presentations are short presentations of new ideas or
work in progress that can address any issue relevant to stabilization,
safety and security of distributed systems. The poster session covers
the same interest areas as the technical track of SSS 2008
(http://sss08.cse.msu.edu) except that submissions may report
preliminary results.

Contributions are particularly solicited from academics and
industrial practitioners that may not have been able to prepare
full papers due to time and work pressures, but nevertheless
seek an opportunity to engage with the SSS community.

* Submission guidelines:

A Poster submission should be at most two pages in length,
single-column pages on letter-size paper using at least 11-point
font and appropriate margins. The paper must be submitted as
a .PDF file to Poster Co-chairs, aebnenas@xxxxxxx and siona@xxxxxxxxxxxx,
by the deadline of September 10, 2008.
Submission of a contribution to the track indicates agreement to
have one author present the work, if accepted, at the conference.

* Selection and Notification:

Submissions will be refereed primarily on the basis of relevance
to SSS, but also on their capacity to stimulate and intrigue
the reader. The notification of accepted posters will be sent
on September 20, 2008. Accepted contributions will be distributed
to attendees at the conference.

* Important Dates:

- Submission deadline: September 10, 2008
- Notification of acceptance: September 20, 2008.
- Camera ready deadline: September 30, 2008.

* Poster Co-chairs:

- Doina Bein    (siona@xxxxxxxxxxxx)
- Ali Ebnenasir (aebnenas@xxxxxxx)
