The Information Trust Institute at The University of Illinois is proud
to present the Cyber Security for Process Control Systems Summer School.
This summer school has been organized to complement the activities of
the Trustworthy Cyber Infrastructure for the Power (TCIP) project funded
by NSF, DOE, and DHS, and will include top academic, industrial and
government researchers as instructors. It will be held at the beautiful
Abbey Resort (www.theabbeyresort.com) on Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
Topics include an overview of threats against control systems,
background in both control systems and cyber security, current
approaches for protecting control systems, and research problems and
vision. This will be of interest to Graduate Students, Faculty, and
Industrial Participants who want to learn about the future of process
control system security. More information, including an agenda, can be

Registration and Hotel information
Registration Fee is $850 if you register by May 10, 2008, after which
the fee is $975. Your fee includes all program materials, available
breaks, and meals. The program begins with a reception at 5:00 p.m.,
Monday, June 16, 2008 and ends at 12:00 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2008.

Graduate Student Scholarships Available
Graduate Students at US institutions are eligible to apply for
scholarships, which will cover the cost of registration, lodging (double
occupancy), and a travel allowance. Please complete the application form
and email application with research statement, to lmelchi@xxxxxxxx or
mail to Information Trust Institute, attn: Lori Melchi, 1308 W Main
Street, Urbana, IL 61801, by Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Final decisions
will be made by April 30, 2008. With support from the Department of
Energy and the National Science Foundation, approximately 35 graduate
student scholarships will be awarded.
