DEBS 2009 will bring together researchers and practitioners from around the
world active in the various sub communities of events processing to share
their views. The scope of the conference covers all topics relevant to
event-based computing as it is used in coordination, software engineering,
peer-to-peer systems, Grid computing, and streaming databases. Topics
include workflow management systems, mobile computing, pervasive/ubiquitous
computing, sensor networks, user interfaces, component integration,
Web services, and embedded systems. Topics on the enterprise side include
complex event detection, enterprise application integration, real time
enterprises, and Web services notifications. The conference is hosted
at Vanderbilt University in lovely Nashville, Tennessee.
Technical Paper Abstract submission: February 23, 2009, full paper March 2, 2009
Tutorial Proposal submission : March 1, 2009
Doctoral and PhD Workshop Submission deadline: March 2, 2009
